Dr. Dandoy was raised in Columbus, Ohio and then later moved to Akron, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Michigan and received her M.D. degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Miami Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Dandoy is married to Chris Dandoy, who is completing a pediatric oncology fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center. They reside in Franklin with their two daughters, Chloe and Camilla.
Dr. Komer received his Bachelor of Science degree in pre-medicine in 1982 from the University of Dayton. In 1987, he received his M.D. degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency training in 1990 at Children's Medical Center in Dayton. From 1990 to 1991, Dr. Komer was Chief Resident, and served on several committees including the Quality Assurance Committee, the Education Committee and the ICU Committee. Dr. Komer joined Children's Medical Center in September 1991 and since 1993 he has been Chairman of the Medical Records Committee at Middletown Regional Hospital. Dr. Komer is married to Dr. Sheila Brady and has five children —Jack, Charlie, Clara, Bernadette and Rosemary. Dr. Komer is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Pate was raised in Kokomo, Indiana, and has been with the Children's Medical Center since 1984. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton. Illinois. Dr. Pate received his M.D. degree from Indiana University and completed his pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. Dr. Pate has a wife, Peggy, and a son and two daughters and lives in Liberty Township. Dr. Pate is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Small has been with Children’s Medical Center since 1985. She is currently the Chair of the Pediatrics Section at Atrium Medical Center. Dr. Small received her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio in 1981 and completed her residency in pediatrics at Chldren’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio in 1984. Dr. Small lives with her husband, Joe, in Middletown. Dr. Small is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics
Jennifer grew up in Cincinnati and Mentor, OH. She received her nursing degrees from the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a Master’s in Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. While attaining her Master’s degree, she worked for 5 years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as an RN on the hematology/oncology unit. Before going into nursing, she received a BS in Biology from UC and worked in research at UC and as a contractor for the Air Force. She lives in White Oak, OH with her husband, 3 sons, and their rescue dog, Sadie.
